We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the park. Great staff. Loved the shuttle ride to save us uphill efforts. Wonderful views of the Bay of Islands. If you after a rainy day, like we did, be prepared to get muddy! This was a very good activity for both generations in our group -- Millennials and boomers.

We rented full suspension mountain bikes and rode the trails there. The bikes and trails are awesome and the experience is great. The service was also very good.

We visited the park in early June, the track were amazingly well maintained and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We hired Hardtail mountain bikes which were affordable and included the day pass into the tracks! Would defs recommend to anyone, there is a bunch of variety of track levels to suit everyone!

Had such an amazing weekend riding the trails at Waitangi. Jonny from Paihia mountain bike rentals was great, set us up on epic bikes and gave us some awesome advice for our weekend. To give us a break and make the most of the weekend, we got a few shuttle rides each day, was such fun. And the crew there are super helpful and friendly.

Hired an E mountain bike with my daughter last minute, spent the morning on the trails had a blast, trails were awesome, bikes were well maintained and whole process pretty easy to be fair. Only downside is I really want an E mountain bike LOL

Paihia MTB rentals and the Waitangi MTB trails is now on my must do list each time i am in the area. The rental bikes are always fresh and in top conditions and the trails are great. Something for absolutely every level of rider. If you enjoy MTB riding this should be on your must do list.

Jonny, Georgie and their crew are great. Super friendly and helpful. We are from Wellington and hired bikes at Waitangi Mountain Bike Park from Paihia Mountain Bike Rentals and Shuttles. Everything was easy and they gave us heaps of good tips and got us set up quickly and with a smile. Great set up, great operators. Loved it.

What a fantastic park. Great trails throughout the forest, with a mix of flat simple trails, flowy gravity trails and a bit of gnar for those who like it. Great well-maintained hire bikes if you need them, and if you don’t want to ride uphill then shuttle is spacious, and the roads are smooth which makes for nice quick shuttle runs.

We called and booked not knowing much about the place, but the guy on the phone was super helpful and clear. When we got there (at any time we wanted), they knew who we were and which bikes were ours. They were super friendly and cheerful, and knew and loved their job. The park itself was awesome - it was really well maintained and an amazing location, and it's a really good place to go if you've never done mountain biking before, or if you're experienced.
